A very short note from G. Sutton on board HMS Porpoise, dated 10th November 1799, reporting to Banks that the garden is in good condition

Sir,

agreeable to your Request I have Sent an account of the Garden in which every thing of the hardy kind Looks Well as do most of the tender Plants — the only one that Looks Sickly is the Avenhoa — this day has been very fine

(Page 2) and I have all this Day given them the full advantage of air and Sun which I think when an opportunity offers is of great Service to them — G. Sutton is happy to hear Govr. King is in good Health —
